51512B Post Office Box, Plug Type

Same as No. 51512-A but coils are of manganin wire.

51512C Post Office Box, Plug Type

Provided with two ratio dials having ratio coils of 1, 10, 1000 ohms. Series resistance is in 4 dials, with 10 coils in each dial, of 1, 10, 100, 1000 ohms ( Total 11, 110 ohms ). Four terminals are provided for connecting battery and galvanometer. In wooden box with hinged cover. Manganin Coils. Accuracy coils ae 0.02%, othed ae 0.05%

51512D Post Office Box, Plug Type

Same as No. 51512-C but with constantan coils.

Accuracy : Ratio coils + 0.05%, other + 0.1%

51512E Post Office Box, Plug Type

Same as No. 51512-D but fitted with sensitive moving coil galvanometer and having a provision to use external galvanometer, if desired.

51512F Post Office Box, Plug Type

Same as No. 51512-E but with constantan coils.
 

51513 Rheostat

Insulator tube, wound with oxidised Eureka wire and mounted on bakelite feet, is provided with laminated brush contact of phosphor bronze strip; nickle plated rod and 4 mm socket terminals. It can be used as series resistance or potential divider.
