51413 Dip Circle
Cobalt Steel magnetic needle strongly magnatised, fitted with
hardened steel pivot working in agate cup bearings. The needle
can be readily removed for reversal. The vertical scale is
graduated in degrees, divided up in four equal quadrants, each
rainging from 0 to 90*. The case is made of Aluminium with glass
on both sides and hinged door and a sensitive circular spirit
level. It rotated on a metallic tripod into 360* and is read by
vernier to 0.1 degree. |
