Electrically Maintained
A heavy steel fork about 60 vibrations per second is mounted on
a heavy cast iron base. The electromagnet is adjustable so that
the amplitude of vibration may be varied between wide limits.

Apparatus
Comprising 2 aluminium tubes telescoping into each other so that
the colum of air with in the tube may be altered from 30 cm to
